هذه المؤسسة تتوكل في متابعة الطالب ومتابعة كل شيئ يختص به عندما يحصل على منحة من الحكومة البلجيكة. وهذه المنح تصل عن طريق التعليم العالي ومن ثم للوزارة الخارجية فرع التعاون الخارجي.

يكون سير طلب الحصول على هذه المنحة كالتالي:

كل سنة تعلن التربية التعليم العالي الفلسطينية عن منح لبلجيكا في جميع التخصصات للدراسة في بلجيكا ويكون عادة في اخر شهر مارس، وترفع الأسماء التي تقدم إلى لجنة التعاون في تبادل الطلبة التي مقرها بجانب(pot de namoor) ليبتوا بالموضوع ويختاروا الأسماء.

وهذه المنح المقدمة من الحكومة تسمح للطالب الدراسة في أي جامعة في بلجيكا وتمنحه 856 يوروا شهري وعلى كل طفل 56 يوروا وعن الزوجة 54 يوروا.

• Professor scholarships

For PhD only. This kind of scholarships requires the student to work on a research project closed to his/her PhD subject. To get this scholarship you should look for "research job" or research position; usually is announced on the websites of research groups (or subscribe to some mailing lists, such as DB-world,...). When you apply for this kind of scholarships, make sure that you have a good CV and motivation..... We recommend you to search for this kind of scholarship, rather than the other kinds that are listed above.

Language

For masters: in the Dutch speaking universities, master programs normally are in English. Usually, Dutch-speaking universities do not require TOFEL or GRE, etc. a letter to prove that you studied your first degree in English is enough. In the French speaking universities, master programs are usually in French, but there are some international masters programs in English.

For PhD, there are no rules. Usually, in the Dutch speaking universities, PhD research is conducted in English; no special language exams are required. In the French speaking universities, particularly the scientific subjects are taught in English, other subjects are taught mostly in French.

اللغة لا تعتبر عائق في الاتحاق في الجامعات إلا للذين يريدون دراسة البكالوريوس لأن البكالوريوس يتطلب منه معرفة لغة إما فرنسي أو هولندي حسب الجامعة المراد الالتحاق بها.

لكن للماجستير والدكتوراه  تتطلب لغة انجليزية .

Life in Belgium

If you are a single, it cost you:  450- 600 euro/month.

If you are married (+ 2 children), it cost you:  1000-1600 euro/month.

For both (singles and married), you need to add your traveling (Palestine Belgium, around 600 euro, a round trip), + the study fees: around 600 euro/year for masters, and 250 euro/year, for PhD.

Advices

- If you cannot get a scholarship and wish to do a master program, we advice you to fund your self, if possible. For a one-year program, it would cost you about 6000-7000 euro/year. However, this might increase your chance to find a professor scholarship to do PhD after you finish the master.

- If you are married and wish to bring your wife and/or kids with you, we advice you to apply for a VISA for them BEFORE you come to Belgium, it might be difficult and normally takes few months to apply while you are in Belgium.
